Switch Baccarat Review
Microgaming announced the release of several new table games developed by Switch Studios, one of them being Baccarat. Designed with sleek graphics, intuitive game interface and superior sound, Microgaming’s Baccarat variant brings a new twist on the popular Eastern game. Explore all the options in this amazing game and find out why you should choose it over any other!
Built on a powerful new engine, Microgaming’s Baccarat is a multi-platform game that features a revolutionary implementation of the player-controlled Squeeze mechanic. With the mechanic, you can rotate, pull, peel and flip your cards. Moreover, a Scorecard feature is offered that can be tailored by you, in addition to a Turbo Mode and Advanced Road Statistics.
The game offers Side bets, as well, which pay out according to the payout schedule, and independently of the Player and Banker Bet.
The game is played with 8 decks of cards and the general baccarat rules apply. Player’s card is dealt first and then the Banker’s is. Should you bet on the Banker’s hand, and it wins, you pay 5% commission. Naturally, Royals have a 0 point value, Aces are worth 1, and the cards from 2 through 9 have their face value. If there’s a tie, and you did not bet on a Tie, your stake is returned to you. You cannot place bets on the Banker and Player at the same time. The hand that has the highest total wins.
Needless to say, as any Microgaming release, Baccarat looks amazing. It offers clean graphics, strong colours, the dark red being the dominant one. The playing interface is neat, well organized, and there are special effects that are used to highlight the possible bets on the table. You can see your possible chip denominations on the bottom left side of the screen.
When you load Baccarat, you will see that you have chips worth $5, $10, $25, $50, $100, and $200 that you can place. Therefore, the minimum bet you can place is $5 and the maximum $200.
The RTP is 98.94%. However, if the Banker bet you’ve place wins, you pay 5% commission. Otherwise, the payouts are pretty standard. Winning bets on the player pay 1 to 1. Winning bets on a Tie pay 8 to 1, and if a Tie wins, Player and Banker bets Push. Even money is paid if you win Banker Bets. Player Pair Bet and Banker Pair Bet pay 11 to 1.
Baccarat by Microgaming, developed exclusively by Switch Studios, is a great game. In terms of gameplay, it does not differ much from a standard baccarat game. You have 5 possible types of bets you can place: Player, Banker, Tie, Player Pair Side Bet and Banker Pair Side Bet. However, the revolutionary implementation of the Card Squeeze, Scorecard Feature, Advanced Road Statists and Turbo Mode allow you to customize and tailor your experience, and flip, rotate, pull and peel the card as you wish. Complemented by crisp clear graphics and sophisticated design, the game is expected to reach all fanatic baccarat players and Microgaming fans. If you still haven’t given it a go, make sure you do the minute you can!
