1 Arm Bandit Slot Review
1 Arm Bandit is a game that is inspired by the original slot machines, the ones that you would get at brick and mortar top casinos, or even in pubs all over the world. Those simple games, with 3 reels and few lines, would have an arm that you would pull on, to get the round started. This classic slot inspires the 1 Arm Bandit, being transformed in this particular case into a game with a Wild West theme, one where you actually get a bandit in the main role (not sure on the number of arms he has). The game doesn’t have any features, being a true classic in that regard. It offers 3 reels, with 1 to 3 lines active for each round, while prizes could potentially reach values of $20,000.
Betting and Prizes
The game has a wager system which seems to be part of a lot of classic titles, at least those offered by Microgaming. You get coins which you use to determine how many lines will be active, so you can use 1, 2 or 3 coins total. The value of those coins is something that you also decide, the minimum denomination being set to $0.25, while the maximum one can reach $5. That’s why you can spend anywhere between $0.25 and $15 for each round of 1 Arm Bandit.
The rewards available in this game will reach a maximum value of $20,000, coming from 4,000 coins which you win when you have three Bandits on the slot’s 3rd line. Each line has a different prize for that same combo, so the 2nd line will pay 2,000 coins ($10,000), while the 1st line will have only 1,000 coins ($5,000) for you.
1 Arm Bandit Slot Features
Microgaming decided to keep the game a lot closer to the classic side than other slots of theirs are. There will be no features included in 1 Arm Bandit, not even a simple wild. It’s not unexpected, it’s actually easier to find a classic without features, than one with a lot of them.
Theme & Design
1 Arm Bandit will have a Wild West theme, and the star of it is a character that looks like a bandit. Wearing a cowboy hat, with red hair and holding a cigar in the corner of his mouth, he looks like a bandit mostly because of the mean look he has. You don’t see much of the background, but you can guess the desert being there thanks to the color of the land. Among the symbols, you’re going to find that bandit in the main role, followed by a simple red 7, as well as three bullet shaped Bar symbols (with 1, 2 or 3 stacked bullets showing).
The design is no masterpiece, definitely not what you would expect from a modern title. It’s a cartoon style design, which looks dated, but not ugly.
Dedicated to the original one arm bandits, the game has a Wild West theme that many would enjoy, as well as a very simple gameplay, with no features. The aim here is only to form a combination, nothing else.
