10,000 Wishes Slot Machine: Review & Demo
Alchemy Gaming and Microgaming have collaborated for several slot machines already, and among them was Wheel of Wishes, which appears to be the first game in the series, while 10,000 Wishes is the second one. We’re going to get the same Wheel-style features, at least in part, along with a design which appears to draw inspiration from the Middle East’s stories.
10,000 Wishes will have only 10 regular paylines present on its 5 reels. It will however include a number of cool features, including here the mega symbols (3x3), a Bonus Wheel, scatters or wilds. With all that help, it can end up delivering a Mega Jackpot which is worth 10,000x the stake, or it could pay as little as 500x the stake via regular symbols. You can expect a slot with medium volatility, and a 96.27% RTP.
10,000 Wishes Betting and Prizes
Your initial wagers can be quite low, even at $0.10 for a single spin. You may increase the bet significantly though, with the upper limit being at $25.
The slot also includes a Power Spin mode, for which you have to pay extra.
With the right bet, and with the Mega Jackpot coming your way, the game could pay up to $250,000 in a single spin (10,000x the stake). It’s far less impressive if you check out its regular combinations, as those offer at most 500x the stake (50x for each active line).
The regular wins are a bit low, if we consider the Medium volatility rating, but the fixed jackpot more than makes up for that part. Long-term, they’re expecting a 96.27% RTP.
Slot Features
The Power Spin mode is a type of round that you can get via scatter symbols, but which you can also pay extra for, in order to guarantee its appearance. It will give you 3x3 symbols on the middle 3 reels, so the odds of forming multiple combinations will go way up.
You will benefit from the presence of special Wild symbols, and you can use them to form wins which pay up to 100x the stake, or they can just act as substitutes for other symbols.
Should the round bring you 3 scatter symbols with the Wheel, you gain access to a Power Spin. A single free spin is offered, with the mega symbol present on the reels 2-4, while the 1st and 5th columns get a top paying symbol.
Gaining access to the Bonus Wheel and winning the top jackpot is possible when you have a scatter symbol come in during a Power Spin, in mega form (takes over 3 reels). The jackpots go as high as 10,000x the stake (Mega version), but there are three smaller ones as well.
It’s not a long list of features, but you’re looking at big potential for a game with medium volatility.
Theme & Design
Theme wise, don’t expect to get something original from 10,000 Wishes. The Arabic-style design is well done though, and there are various top paying symbols which feature images related to magic in some way. The Wild logo and the Wheel are used as feature symbols. Regulars will bring us images of spell books, potions, pendants and treasure chests. There will be four low paying symbols also, the ones showing the card suits.
Conclusion
10,000 Wishes looks pretty good, and has an above average top jackpot to offer, particularly for the volatility it has. On the other hand, there are few features to be found, and most wins end up being quite small.
