777 Royal Wheel Slot Review
777 Royal Wheel is a slot machine that’s been designed by the developers from Pulse 8 Studios, but at the same time this is a game which is offered by Microgaming, and part of the partnership that the two companies have. With a classic theme, which is not likely to impress a lot of players, it does make an effort and places the game area on a stage, almost like it’s part of a magic show. Ultimately, the game doesn’t quite make the cut, and a big part of that is the low RTP.
You get to play on 5x3 reels, there will be 25 active lines for you to use, and through them you can look forward to potential wins of up to $235,000 (3,133x the stake). Unfortunately, those rewards are combined with high volatility and a 94.40% RTP, and they’re no longer as interesting as they seemed at first. If you care more about features, those include some excellent options, such as respins and the possibility to spin a wheel and get wild multipliers (up to 24x when combined).
777 Royal Wheel Betting and Prizes
Using 25 coins for every single round, you get to pick the total amount directly. $0.25 is the starting point, while $75 is the maximum amount that you can use.
When it comes to top rewards, the payouts look inviting at first, the game offering 3,133x the stake if you get really lucky (up to $235,000). The game doesn’t give you very good odds of getting close though, as both the volatility is high and the RTP low (94.40%). Unfortunately, you’d need much better odds for a game like this, so this one is already looking like a slot to avoid.
The list of features delivered in 777 Royal Wheel is not very long. You are going to get Respins for all rounds that have winning combinations, alongside wilds with multipliers, but that’s it.
The Respins will trigger often then, and their purpose is to bring you better wins. They lock the winning symbols in their positions, and the respins aim to bring you new combinations or improve existing ones.
A very powerful feature, the Wild Wheel is randomly triggered, so you have even less perceived control over it. Once it activates, the wheel will spin and will select one of the regular symbols.
The selected symbol is going to be transformed into a wild with a 2x multiplier. It will be used in that capacity for that particular spin and all resulting respins.
Once the feature is over, the multipliers are collected from all wilds, and they are added up, to get you total multipliers of up to 24x.
The wild symbol, taking the form of the Crown, is a substitute which works alongside any of the regulars. Its own wins are the best available in the slot, paying up to $900 per line (12x the stake).
Theme & Design
The theme we’re looking at might remind you of a Las Vegas show, but that’s only because the reels have been placed on a stage. It has golden tiles behind, velvet curtains to the sides and the stage at the bottom.
With symbols mostly being classics, you’re going to find the Wild Crown as the top symbol, plus three Lucky 7s (in 3, 2 and 1 variants), two Bar logos (2 and 1 Bars) and the Royals (10 to Ace). Not very interesting then, but they do their job.
The slot game, while not the most exciting if you care about story, has some decent features to put in front of the player, so it’s not a complete lost cause. Unfortunately, we’re seeing a very low RTP of 94.40% being used, which along with the slot’s high volatility might prove to be too much for the typical player.
