Banana Drop Slot Review
Announced as one of the new slots to join Microgaming’s platform in the summer of 2020, Banana Drop is a title that’s been developed by Crazy Tooth Studio. It’s got a couple of fun new features, a jungle-themed design that involves plenty of bananas and monkeys, and overall it offers more than enough to make it an acceptable choice this summer.
Its setup is also one that looks good, with 4096 ways to win provided over 6x4 reels, and with an All Pays system which makes it easier than ever to get a combo going. The rewards will reach top values of up to 6,031x the stake, and though that might not be something that a lot of people experience, we also know that the slot has a 96.70% RTP and medium volatility, both of which will be things that players will like. The major features used here revolve around its free spins, wilds and the falling bananas random feature.
Banana Drop Betting and Prizes
You spend just $0.15, to get the spins going in Banana Drop. At the other end, you can rely on bets of up to $30 to do the same thing, but with bigger payouts possible then.
I especially like the potential that the game has, of up to 6,031x the stake, all of it coming from a slot which has only medium volatility. Part of the reason why those payouts are possible, is that the game has a good RTP, of 96.70%.
One of the things to note, is that the winning combinations are easier than ever to form. You just need a minimum of three consecutive reels with matching symbols on them, and you can get paid. There is no need to have the first reel starting from the leftmost or rightmost column, they can even be in the middle of the game area.
You will notice that the game’s reels are placed against banana trees, and that there are such fruits with symbols on them, which hang above each one. The way to get those bananas to fall down on the reels, bringing you prizes or wilds, is to have a random feature trigger. Falling Banana will do just that, bringing along a monkey to take down the bananas.
Wild symbols will be used in the game, either regular or stacked, and appearing on their own or as a result of the bananas falling from the top.
You also get your free spins feature, with 7 rounds initially, where Falling Bananas are guaranteed for each round, along with stacked monkey symbols, the latter used to increase the number of bananas at the top.
A special feature, called Big Buildup, is used to add more bananas to the trees.
Theme & Design
It’s quite colorful and fun looking, and it’s a banana and monkey themed slot machine. It’s no masterpiece, but it’s good enough to have a bit of fun with it. Its symbols start with low value fruits, using coconuts, watermelons and pineapples. The Royals follow then, four of them total, from J to A. Next, you get four animal symbols, with the hippo, zebra, giraffe and lion.
Banana Drop should be interesting enough, and a lot of players will likely find it a good pick because of the very high potential, especially since it’s coupled with only medium volatility.
