The Bee’s Knees Slot Review
The Bee’s Knees is a bee themed slot indeed, a classic one at that, which uses superior features to those that other 3 reel titles might be able to give you. The theme is obvious inspired by the bee hive and by its various types of inhabitants, but some of them look quite human in their behavior. For example, you have a bee that holds wads of cash and has a gold chain around its neck, while a blonde female bee looks admiringly at him from the other side. Bonus features, mystery combs and nudges are in place, to be taken advantage of. The base game has 3 reels with a single pay line. Its payouts will get as high as $10,000.
Betting and Prizes
You don’t have a lot of coins to use here. The Bee’s Knees slot will only need one coin from you, for its wager, and in fact you don’t even have the option to wager with more than that. The only way to change what a wager is worth, is to modify the denomination of the coin, and its range will start from $0.10 and can be taken up to $10.
It’s easy enough to figure out how much you get paid in this game, since it mentions that you can win 1,000 coins. You multiply that number with the value of the bet from that round, or the coin denomination if you will, and you find out that you can win up to $10,000.
The Bee’s Knees Slot Features
Nudges are going to be part of this game’s feature list, and they are always mentioned on the main screen, in the top left corner. Nudges are used to push symbols which are needed for combinations, on the slot’s line, and this happens if they are already next to it, either above or below it.
The symbol with the Honey Jar will get you the bonus game, when they form a combination on the slot’s only win line. Once triggered, the bonus feature appears to be capable of paying up to 2,000 coins, but it can also give you win spins, nudges and other bonus games.
Theme & Design
The slot has a busy design, with plenty of things going on both in the background and in the front. You have images of bees as they’re sitting on flowers and holding cash, you get the bee hives, trees and even rainbows in the distance. The reels are surrounded by information, about the bonus feature, nudges or the paytable. On that paytable, the symbols include the Bee, the Bee Hive, 7s, watermelon, plum, grapes, oranges and cherries.
The Bee’s Knees looks interesting because it is just so unusual, both feature and theme wise. There are other games with 3 reels that are just as different in Microgaming’s collection, but this is the only one based on bees.
