Crazy Chameleons is one of the many slot machines which come from Microgaming, one of the oldest developers of such titles. You’re getting a surfing themed title, one where the main characters are chameleons that act like humans. You have surfing chameleons, you have the Sun and the beach, surfboards and a few other things that are fit for this sort of theme. You also have a pretty weak design and lots of ugly poker letters. The slot has 5 reels with 5 lines, a basic design that comes only with a wild symbol for its features. You can get paid up to $25,000 while playing it.
Betting and Prizes
You are allowed to modify the line bet, and you do this by changing the value of the coins you’re using. The range for them is between $0.25 and $5 and with up to 5 coins in your bet, you should expect to spend a maximum of $25 each time you play the slot.
Given that the big prize of this slot is set at 5,000 coins, expect to get that much, and for it to mean up to $25,000 cash. The symbol which pays that amount is the one which has a Chameleon on it.
Crazy Chameleons Slot Features
Though the list of features in this game is on the short side, you do have a wild symbol and you can form combinations easier than you would in other slots.
The Wave Wild will be the one used to substitute for all other symbols which can form combinations in this slot. It has to just appear in a position from where it can take the place of another in a winning combo, and it will automatically help out if it can. The wild is the only feature symbol, and so it can replace all others, without exceptions. Wilds don’t seem to be capable of offering their own prize.
One thing that I did enjoy about this game, despite the lack of attractive features, is the part where it is capable of forming combinations which start from the right to the left, or from the left to the right. You just need the symbols to be on adjacent positions, starting from one of the two sides.
Theme & Design
I didn’t enjoy the graphics of Crazy Chameleons online slot, the style being too close to what you would expect in the 90s from slot machines. The characters and objects are drawn as cartoons, and they seem to have a positive attitude, but it’s not enough to make the slot attractive. The idea of the theme does seem to be original.
Crazy Chameleons will provide you with little in the way of features, graphics or payouts, so I can’t find any good reasons to stick with it, or at least try it out.
