Electric Avenue Slot Review

Electric Avenue Slot Big Image

Electric Avenue is going to be available soon at Microgaming casinos, being part of a collaboration that the company has with All41Studios. It’s an 80s neon-style design, which includes a modern layout and exciting features, especially thanks to its generous multipliers.

You get 6 reels here, with up to 4096 ways to win available to form winning combinations. Among the game’s major features, the Wild Reels are a big part of the offer, but so are the multipliers which come from them, with a total combined value of up to 14x. Add the scatter symbols, Electric free spins with Power Wilds, or the Neon Free Spins which get a Wild Wheel and up to 55x multipliers, and I’m sure you will start to feel the excitement as well. Even better, the game is capable of delivering a jackpot of $205,000 (6,833x the stake), while keeping the RTP at a decent 96.37%.

Electric Avenue Betting and Prizes

$0.20 is the least that you need to invest in the next round, in order to get the reels going. At the other end of the range, bets will go up to $30 per spin.

6,833x the stake is the highest top prize that one can get from Electric Avenue, and it’s a level that the developer capped the game at. Otherwise, there is certainly potential for more, since a single combo can pay as much as 50x the stake even before multipliers apply. Keep in mind, there are 4096 ways to win here.

Now, even though the game can pay a lot, it should also be remembered that it’s not a tame title. It’s high volatility that you can expect. Even so, the RTP is still at a good enough level, of 96.37%.

Slot Features

Wild Reels is one of the features that are included in Electric Avenue, and it’s a random bonus that will trigger at any point, influencing the middle four columns, either all of them or only some. Depending on which of the four middle reels become wild, there are multipliers from 2x to 5x as well. These multipliers add up, and with all four reels getting them, in theory you could be looking at a total boost to wins of 14x.

To get to the free spins mode, you need the scatter symbols landing three times or more, same as in most games. There are two types of free games to choose from next. The free spins can be retriggered.

Electric Free Spins will offer you 7 rounds, for which a random symbol is turned into the Power Wild. This is a sticky symbol, which stays in place until the feature is over. Should three of these Power Wilds appear on the same reel, you will also gain an extra 3 rounds for the feature.

Neon Free Spins deliver 10 rounds, for which a Wild Wheel gives you multipliers as high as 55x. It’s not guaranteed to appear, but it will show up fairly often anyway. There is a chance that the free spins will be retriggered, if you get another set of at least three scatters.

Theme & Design

It appears like we’re being taken to an 80s era city, perhaps to Miami Beach or another sunny location. We find the city in the background, with palm trees and smaller buildings shown, along with a pink overlay that covers the image. As the major symbols, we get the feature triggers, plus as high value positions there are icons with a boom box, cameras, shoes, Rubik’s cubes, sunglasses and soda cans. The last four icons get the card suits, made out of neon outlines.

Electric Avenue looks like a decent game in a lot of areas, and while I’m not a big fan of its theme, even that part works well enough for it.
