The Land of Lemuria Slot Review
The Land of Lemuria is a game that Microgaming created, and it is a fantasy title which features castles that float in the sky, magic and other similar images. The idea behind those images is a pretty good one, but I didn’t find the actual design to be as pretty as I generally expect fantasy themed slots to be. Wild symbols and scatters, along with a bonus game, are the features offered. 243 ways to win are available, on five reels, and they can bring out prizes of $7,500.
Betting and Prizes
The Forgotten Land of Lemuriahas slot has 25 lines which are used to trigger the All Pays system with its ways to win. 25 to 250 coins may be part of each round’s bet, with a denomination that you will pick as well, between $0.01 and $0.50. The most that one line can get is $5, while for the 25 lines you can wager with up to $125. A minimum bet of $0.25 is required, a line below which you can’t go.
A reward of 1,500x is announced by the game, and with the right bet in place it could turn into 15,000 coins, which have a value of $7,500.
The Land of Lemuria Slot Features
There will be an unusual looking symbol in the game, with some kind of image that has three points placed in a triangle around it. This wild symbol, because that’s what its role is in the game, will be a substitute whenever it can get into a position from which it can help you. Don’t expect it to replace a scatter, but if it’s a regular symbol that you need help with, then it will act as its substitute as long as it is present on the right reel.
As for the scatter, you see the eye of the Queen in it, and it is the kind of symbol that you just need to have visible somewhere, its position not being relevant thanks to its abilities. Have the game land you up to five such symbols, and you could get up to 500 coins from it.
The same scatter will activate a bonus feature for you, one where you pick from the shown orbs, and you hope that you will progress to a new round. The third round is also the last one, the one with the best prize.
Theme & Design
The idea of a long lost land is not exactly new for Microgaming slots, but I found that Microgaming did an adequate job with its theme. The design could’ve been better, but this seems to be an older slot from them, so I guess the quality can be forgiven.
You will discover a slot machine which has the right idea, but which doesn’t implement it very well, and I wouldn’t really recommend it overall, it doesn’t excel in any area.
