Robin Hood: Feathers of Fortune is one of those slots that you can’t help but be impressed with. Inspired obviously by the legend of Robin Hood, the thief that took from the rich and gave the money to the poor, it is at the same time a bird themed title. All the characters shown on the reels as symbols are actually birds, including pigeons, owls and ravens, to mention the ones that I recognize. The top prize you get here appears to go up to $1,500 normally, while the payouts are offered when forming combinations on 243 ways to win.
Betting and Prizes
30 win lines are present in the game, when it comes to bets at least, since it wouldn’t be easy to bet on 243 ways to win directly. You have the option of using a maximum of 10 coins for each of those 30 win lines, and to increase the value up to $0.05 for each coin. You can’t spend more than $0.50 per line, so the largest bet will be at $15.
I’m not impressed with the prizes you can get in this game. Regular combinations will go up to 500x, meaning $250. The better payout is offered by the scatter, which will give back 100x the wager, so up to $1,500. The fact that there are stacked symbols does give you a very good chance of hitting multiple combinations at the same time, so the slot does make up for the low individual payouts.
Robin Hood Slot Features
Robin Hood is shown as a white and orange bird, which holds a bow and has a green hat. As a scatter, you need it to appear on the 1st and 5th reels, and this way you can trigger the Archery Bonus. There are 5 picks inside, which will give you between 2x and 15x the bet value.
Next, I’ll mention the Wanted Poster, which is a scatter and a way for you to activate the feature with 2x multipliers and 15 free games. You might even retrigger the free spins, if luck is with you. This is the scatter that will pay the 100x jackpot I mentioned previously.
As for the wild, the Robin Hood Logo is the one that takes this role. What I loved seeing here is that the wild appears stacked on the reels, and so it will improve your payouts considerably. As a wild, it can’t replace the two scatters.
Theme & Design
I loved the design of Feathers of Fortune, one of the better Robin Hood themed titles I’ve seen so far. The symbols are all themed, and they have bird characters, logos or objects from the novel among the symbols.
I suggest you try out Robin Hood Feathers of Fortune, I think you will find it an appealing slot machine, with plenty of good features and high quality graphics.
