A Microgaming title, So Much Candy is a slot machine whose entire focus seems to be on different types of candy that you might enjoy if you have a sweet tooth. The slot doesn’t look impressive though, probably because the different types of candy are accompanied by poker cards, and neither are particularly striking. You might still enjoy it if you’re really into candy, as the slot will offer an unusual feature which splits symbols into multiple pieces, allowing for combinations of up to 25 symbols to be formed inside. Wild symbols, scatters, free spins, these are also part of the game. The slot offers 25 lines otherwise, and its payouts can reach an impressive $320,000.
Betting and Prizes
The game lets you select 1 to 20 coins to use for each of the 25 fixed lines. Since the denomination of a coin will go up to $1, you can spend up to $500 for each spin of So Much Candy slot. The minimum bet is at only $0.25 though.
The biggest possible payout comes from a combination with 25 pieces of candy in its 5 symbols. This can bring you $320,000, a huge prize, but obviously the odds are quite low also. There are quite a few other prizes which also go into the six figure range, so overall the numbers are impressing on that paytable.
So Much Candy Slot Features
The easiest feature to explain is the wild symbol, which can replace any other symbol, and which also forms combinations that can pay up to $150,000, five identical game logos needed for this to happen.
There is also a scatter, with a candy machine in it, which can trigger payouts of up to $37,500, and which can get you access to free spins as well. 3 to 5 scatters get you the free spins feature. You can get 8 to 16 free spins here, with the wins depending on the option you select (between $160,000 and $320,000 possible for the jackpot). You pick one candy, and that symbol will be the only high paying icon used in the game.
The most impressive feature of all is the one they call Much More Candy. It works only on the high symbols, and it can split each one into up to five pieces of candy. The game looks at a combination’s symbols, and takes into account how many candy pieces are in the symbols. You can have anywhere between 6 and 25 pieces of candy in a combination, and the more you get, the more impressive the payouts become.
Theme & Design
Though the feature section is impressive, the design is much less so. You have a candy themed background image, with reels which are occupied by childish looking poker cards and by various pieces of candy, the kind that you would see in any store.
I enjoyed the features and the video slot Much More Candy combinations quite a bit, but the design didn’t do anything for me.
