Sovereign of the Seven Seas looks like an older slot, with a theme that normally could be very appealing, but which doesn’t look that great in this case. It’s a naval themed slot machine, with a sail ship in the main role, appearing to be something you would’ve seen a few hundred years ago, not these days. The treasure chests and the old cannons are not missing either, so even though pirates don’t seem to be involved, the action takes place during their times. It is a slot machine with 40 paylines, with expanding wilds, scatters and free spins which multiply payouts. As for the biggest payout, it appears to be reaching a value of $1,250.
Betting and Prizes
With 40 paylines which can be active each time you spin the reels, the Sovereign of the Seven Seas game can be rather expensive to play, wagers reaching values of $200 if you set the line bet to the maximum of $5. To get to that kind of bet, the wager needs up to 5 coins, each one with the denomination set to $1.
Apparently, the top prize of this slot will get to $1,250, which isn’t exactly a huge payout for you to go after.
Sovereign Slot Features
Having an expanding wild can be quite helpful, and fortunately this is the kind of slot machine which has this feature. You can use expanding wilds only on three reels though, the ones from the columns 2, 3 and 4. The entire reel will become wild, if this gives you a new win. Wilds are capable of replacing all icons that are considered regular, so that means no scatters.
The scatters in question are represented by the Cannon symbols. Should you have 3 to 5 such icons, the bonus game starts up, giving you the option to choose the feature that you want from there. You can choose 10 free spins with a 4x multiplier, 15 spins with 3x multipliers, or 20 free spins with 2x multipliers. The symbols that trigger the feature don’t have to be in a certain position, they are just needed somewhere in view on the reels. You retrigger the free spins with the same 3+ icons.
Theme & Design
It’s a maritime themed slot machine, with sailors and sail ships being the heroes in this case. It is a look at the navies from a couple of centuries ago, not at the current ones. Graphics are somewhat older looking, so I’m not very impressed with that aspect of the game.
Sovereign of the Seven Seas has a decent theme and features which look interesting, but it doesn’t pay that much and the graphics are not good enough.
