Wanted Outlaws Nobleways Slot Review
All41Studios, collaborating with Microgaming, is launching a new slot machine exclusive for the larger company’s platform. It’s called Wanted Outlaws Nobleways, and as you might be expecting, it features Wild West characters. Worth noting, is also that there is the Nobleways system in place here, with its ways to win. Add several other features, the high hit frequency, and the game’s looking quite appealing.
They designed this one with 5x5 reels, which makes room for 3125 ways to win each round, or Nobleways as they call them. With wilds, collected poster prizes, free spins and scatters, the game’s features are actually more exciting than they might sound like at first. The slot’s rewards will reach 2,500x the stake at most, but fear not, the RTP is at 96.41% and that tells us that the player’s odds are about as good as anywhere else.
Betting and Prizes
Select the bet that you want to use for the next spin, that’s all it takes. You have wagers ranging from $0.10 to $100, and you don’t have to worry about how much is used on each line.
Typically, for a slot machine which has very high volatility, I expect big top jackpots as well, but Wanted Outlaws Nobleways slot seems to have gone another route. They rely on a top jackpot of only 2,500x the stake, but at the same time they use a higher hit frequency, so you win on average once for every two spins, rather than once in three to five rounds, like in other slots. This keeps you interested, but the amount you get doesn’t go very high, and this is still a slot with high volatility.
It’s an interesting math model, but one that can still produce an above average RTP, of 96.41%.
Wanted Outlaws Slot Features
The regular spins are mostly boring, as they don’t have any features to give you. There are only the scatters which can lead you into the free spins feature.
The requirement is to get 3, 4 or 5 symbols with the Sheriff Badge, in order to trigger 10, 15 or 25 rounds in the free spins, respectively. At this point, the developer adds a lot more spice to the gameplay.
One way that they do this, is through the new Sheriff Wild, which is available only in this mode. Landing on the last four reels, it will be used as a substitute.
The other side of the feature comes through its Wanted Posters. These land as symbols on the reels, showing one of three bandits and a cash prize. To collect the visible cash prizes, you need the Sheriff Wild landing at least once that spin. The entire amount mentioned on the posters, will be collected by each of the Sheriffs, so you can get big wins this way. It’s especially true since the Posters can land stacked. Each poster can pay between 2x and 200x the stake, depending on the bandit shown on it.
Theme & Design
You can play Wanted Outlaws slot game and it will take you to the Wild West and the typical dusty towns of the time. Made out of wood, and typically featuring a saloon of some kind, they’re present in all slots that rely on this theme. The graphics are OK here, but we’ve seen a lot better over the years in other games.
The chosen symbols give you the Sheriff, the Badge and the Wanted Posters, these being feature triggers. Regular symbols include the Royals initially, followed by higher value icons with a Pair of Pistols, Cowboy Boots, Rope with Horseshoe on top, and Hats with Gloves.
Wanted Outlaws Nobleways slot should be an interesting one, and that’s mostly due to the way its math works. While most slots that are risky to play will add a big top prize to get you interested, here the wins only go up to 2,500x, but the hit frequency is higher, especially in the base game. You still need to get into the free spins, if you want a better chance at a big win.
