Wheel of Wishes Slot Review
Wheel of Wishes is a game that’s expected to come out in early 2020, a slot machine which is designed by Alchemy Gaming, but which will be exclusive to Microgaming, being built for them and for their progressive jackpot network. With a new WowPot incorporated, with pretty graphics and features which promise to be profitable, Wheel of Wishes is a game to be looking forward to.
At its core, it doesn’t sound like a modern release, due to its use of 10 lines on 5x3 reels, which is on the low side. Even so, in a game which has the volatility set to low, a 93.34% RTP and a 500x top payout, there will also be a WowPot that’s worth $2 million or more, to make up for all of its shortcomings. If you want to learn more about the features that are implemented, those come in the form of wilds, scatters, Power Spins, giant symbols and a Jackpot Bonus Game.
Betting and Prizes
The spin of the reels is assured if you wager $0.10 to $25, on each spin. This activates all lines, without giving you any option to use only some of them.
At first, if you look at the rewards which are possible in Wheel of Wishes, you might not be too sure about it being a great pick. It has top jackpots of 500x the stake, low volatility, while RTP is at 93.34%. Overall, not a great combination for a regular slot machine. Luckily, this one has something extra.
A major thing to note in the favor of Wheel of Wishes, is that its progressive jackpot is going to be included in the Microgaming network, the biggest one in the world, with over 1 billion EUR in prizes paid so far. The WowPot is seen with values of over 2 million EUR in the screenshots, and along with Major, Minor and Mini variants, will be available inside.
Wheel of Wishes Slot Features
One of the features that you’re going to trigger and take advantage of quite often, the Wild symbol will come in as a regular logo, so the visuals aren’t that exciting in its case. However, you’re going to be excited when you see new winning combinations forming with its assistance. The symbol is used as a substitute for regular symbols only.
Power Spins are the ones where the action occurs. To get inside this mode, you need at least two scatters appearing in view, with payouts of up to 500x delivered for up to five such symbols. For the duration of the Power Spins, you get giant symbols on the middle columns.
A giant Wheel of Wishes symbol can also land on the reels, and be used to trigger a wheel of fortune style bonus. It’s called Jackpot Bonus, and it is responsible for triggering the WowPot.
Theme & Design
The theme of the game is Arabic in nature, with the influence coming from the story of the Genie and from the people of the desert. We actually see the sand dunes in the background, while the high value symbols shown on the reels are mostly related to valuables (treasure chests, magic lamps, pendants). As low value symbols, we find card suits and other similar icons, while the feature triggers show logos or a Wheel of Wishes.
Wheel of Wishes is one of the games to pay attention to, since it’s a Microgaming release and trigger for a progressive jackpot which will turn players into millionaires, guaranteed. Without that jackpot, it fails to impress by itself.
