Prima Networks, which is a brand that is Microgaming powered, has recently signed with the Dutch Lottery an intent letter, to allow them to become the only poker supplier and the main casino provider for them. They would go online once they would have the right regulations in place to allow it.
The process started at the beginning of 2015, when Prima Networks started a tender process that proved quite competitive. Thanks to the software that is behind the network, the culture of the company and their relationship building process, the Dutch Lottery chose them for the contract. Using the platform Quickfire, the games designed by Microgaming will be made available to mobile devices and desktops. On top of that, the poker software from Microgaming will also be delivered, used to create promotions, tournaments that are player friendly and have lots of features.
After the Quickfire integration takes place, the Dutch Lottery, which will have a new name starting this summer, will also offer the games from the 20+ development partners that are present on this platform. The same integration of the software gives the lottery access both to the Microgaming content and the one from the partners.
The Prima Networks director, Loraine Schoevers, declared that they are delighted to be picked by De Lotto as their supplier of poker and casino content. They already have experience in working on markets that are regulated, and in collaborating with other state lotteries, and this new contract will improve the position of Microgaming and of Prima Networks on the European market.
