Another program that CIRCA is known for is called Shopmobility, where wheelchairs that are powered or manual are available for hire, along with electric scooters and walkers. With those, they help people that have limited mobility to do shopping trips in the capital of Isle of Man.
Knowing just how much help CIRCA can offer to individuals that need it, Microgaming has decided to make a donation of £5,000 to the charity, which will allow them to buy laptops that will be used for the management of the database that they maintain. Out of the same donation, the charity will also acquire new seating for the reception, so that people that have limited mobility can be better accommodated. Local organizations will also be able to hire equipment for meeting rooms from CIRCA.
CIRCA’s chairman, John Hall, seemed thrilled with the grant that Microgaming offered, through the Health & Care Trust. As for Microgaming, their representative mentioned how admirable CIRCA’s dedication has been, and how important to the island. The Head of the PlayItForward initiative, Claire Coleman, declare that they’re excited about welcoming Ben to their Ambassador programme. He has demonstrated that he has what it takes to be a role model, which is what Microgaming is looking for in an Ambassador.
