Microgaming has announced that they’ve awarded yet another jackpot at the Mega Moolah slot machine, and this has happened only six days after the last time the progressive was triggered.
This time, the progressive jackpot was triggered by a UK player, at Betway, while using a mobile device. The event took place on October 1st, 2017, on a Sunday. The payout this time amounted to £1,448,116. As it always happens with progressive jackpots awarded by Microgaming, this payout will also be given as a lump amount to the lucky player.
This is not the first time that a player from Betway has become a millionaire. The most notable event of this type was back in 2015, when Microgaming got the Guinness World Record for the largest payout offered at an online slot, giving a Betway player a reward of £13,213,838.68.
The Betway director that commented on the current jackpot winner, Anthony Werkman, declared that they have made yet another player a millionaire, and it happened almost two years later, to the day.
As for Microgaming, they praised their jackpot network and how two people became millionaires thanks to it in the span of a single week. They also congratulated the player and Betway.
