PokerStars, which is a brand of Amaya Inc, has just signed an agreement with Microgaming, and it will sport content from the Quickfire platform starting from 2017.

The two companies are both based in Isle of Man and they are widely known for the products that they offer. PokerStars has been launched in 2001, and since then it has worked hard to become the most popular poker website in the world. It has over 108 million members registered on it, and 165+ million hands which were dealt. As for Microgaming, it has been established since the beginning of the online casino market, in the 1990s, and they’ve created hundreds of games so far, which are available at more than 600 online casinos.

PokerStars might be known for being an important poker destination for any player, but they want to expand as well, and they decided to do it through PokerStars Casino. The casino content for this new side of the business will be offered by Microgaming, through the Quickfire platform. There are hundreds of games on that platform, which will be available to the PokerStars players, along with the biggest progressive jackpots in the world.

Quickfire seems to be quite excited about the opportunity they have here, to sign on a big name of the gambling industry and to offer them their content. In addition, they mention that it’s also nice to work with a company that is located so closely to their own HQ. Millions of players are expected to be able to enjoy the Microgaming content, worldwide.

As for the PokerStars representative, their COO, Guy Templer, he declared that the Quickfire platform is recognized for the quality of the content that is offered on it. They’re sure that the games from Microgaming will be well received by the players of PokerStars Casino.

The games from Microgaming will be available at PokerStars Casino starting from the beginning of the summer of 2017.
