The organizer of the event, the Veteran Athletes Club from Isle of Man, considers this to be yet another successful year for the marathon. Among the contributors to this event there has been the team that organized it, along with Microgaming since they supported the event financially. Besides the sponsorship, there were also volunteers from the PlayItForward initiative, which gave runners goody bags, medals and helped with the set-up as well.
