Microgaming and Wplay have recently signed an agreement, where the site which is a new licensee in Colombia will be powered by the Quickfire software.
The latest gambling regulations for online casinos have been introduced by Colombia in 2016, and so the country has granted its first gaming license, and it was the Aquila Global Group that got it. The company is based in Medellin and it will use the Wplay.co name for the market in Colombia. Their aim is to have 1 million customers by the time they have been for three years in operation.
Because their aim is to offer their players the best possible content, they have signed an agreement with Microgaming, to provide them with their Quickfire platform and the games that are available on it. The content that will be offered will include the slot machines and the roulette games, among others. Wplay.co has chosen Microgaming both because it offers the most entertaining games and because the content loads extremely quickly.
Wplay.co will start out as a Colombian gaming site, but in time they have plans to expand and cover markets from other countries as well.
Wplay.co’s aim is to offer simplicity, speed and to innovate permanently. They believe that their motto fits with the work that Microgaming has done over the course of the last two decades.
For Microgaming, having Wplay.co onboard is an important new step for them and their platform, since they are entering a new market in Latin America this way. They are the first ones to get a gaming license as operators in Columbia, and they will have the first games to come online in this market. They hope that this will be an advantage for them.
Players can expect for Wplay.co and its Microgaming games to come online in the next few months.
