The MPN Poker Tour has gone to Bratislava for the first time, and it just ended, with the winner of the Main Event being Alex Hendricks. Alex took home a prize of €27,000.
At the final table of the main event, there were competitors of all professions and nationalities, some being professional poker players, others being pro footballers, to give two examples. At the start of the final day, there were 13 players standing, out of the 329 that started out and played over the course of the two initial days. It went beyond the €150,000 guarantee, and the prize pool ended up being €159,565.
At the end, it was Alex Hendricks, originating from Maastricht, that was the champion and the one that took home the crown. He won €27,000 in the process, from the prize pool of the event. He also got a bonus prize, because he qualified online through the Betsson Group and he lasted the longest. This gave him a package worth €1,500 to be used at the next stop of the MPN Poker Tour.
The second position was occupied by Jussi Matilla, following a battle that took only one hand to complete. Daniel Camus was number three, winning €24,100. In fourth, it was a 20 year old and the youngest at the table, called Dominik Desset.
The Slovakia Cup, with its 128 participants, crowned Gytis Bernatavicius a winner, while the Bounty event’s trophy was won by Paul Fowler.
The next event in the MPN Poker Tour will take place in Bulgaria, at Sunny Beach, between July 5th and 8th, 2018. Once again, the Main Event will have €150,000 in guaranteed prizes.
