Microgaming, through its PlayItForward initiative, has recently decided to support the Taylorian Production’s play, called Chitty Chitty Bang Bang. It will be performed starting from August 6th, 2018.
The play, Chitty Chitty Bang Bang, is based on a children’s book written by Ian Fleming, which was then turned into a film in 1968. It’s the film that inspires the play in this case. The song of the same name, an Oscar nominated one, will be part of the play, along with Hushabye Mountain. In total, there will be 64 performers taking part in this Taylorian Productions play. Among them there will be names like Laura Pigott (a local) which will play as Truly Scrumptious, and Tom Dickerson (playing Caractacus Potts).
The director and also the choreographer of the play will be Chris Cuming, while the music will be handled by Kelvin Towse. The associate director is Scott Hunter. As for the location of the play, it will be available at Gaiety Theatre and it will have a new set, great special effects and an iconic flying car.
Chitty Chitty Bang Bang is going to be available at Gaiety Theatre, starting from August 6th, until August 18th, 2018. The evening performance will take place at 7:30 PM, while the matinee will be at 2:30 PM each Saturday.
Microgaming’s representative, Kate Moughtin, declared that they’ve decided to sponsor another project from Taylorian Productions, after the success of last year’s play. She looks forward to seeing local talent being involved in this play as well.
As for the producer Matt James, speaking for Taylorian Productions, he mentions how delighted they are to benefit from Microgaming’s PlayItForward once again, especially with such a big and ambitious project. Without that support, they wouldn’t be able to give the audience from Isle of Man this type of entertainment.
