According to the latest news from Microgaming, they’ve just welcomed a new addition to the MPN platform, as Coolbet goes live. This company is based in Estonia, being owned by StayCool OU, and it’s a brand that is based on sportsbooks. It has its own sports software and platform that it uses, and on top of the sportsbook offer, it also has live casino and regular casino games to offer players. With MPN’s addition, it also has poker among its offerings.
Coolbet’s joining of MPN is due to the experience that Microgaming has amassed in the poker industry, over a very long period of time. It’s also present in the Nordic European region in a lot of locations, so it’s a known quantity over there. Among the things offered to Coolbet, MPN includes the live tour that is very popular, as well as a comprehensive tournament schedule and various unique promos.
Anders Karlsen, the COO for Coolbet, mentioned that their company and players will both benefit from having a poker team with such experience joining them. Their aim is to give sportsbook players a chance to try out poker, and the other way around as well.
Microgaming’s Jean-Luc Ferriere said that Coolbet is a company with a very experienced team leading it, and that they have a clear strategy when it comes to their targets and customers. MPN will help them achieve those goals.
This is not the first time that Coolbet and Microgaming worked together, as the Quickfire platform and games have been used by the Estonian company since 2016.
