The largest UCOP tournament to date, organized as always by MPN, has just concluded with Mateusz Moolhuizen as its winner. He got the title of Greatest Poker Player of the Universe from it.
UCOP stands for Universal Championship of Poker, and it’s an event that takes place each year. In 2018, it had €1,000,000 in guaranteed prizes, as well as 360 satellites and 88 events total. It’s the biggest year for this tournament so far.
Mateusz Moolhuizen, a Betsson player, has managed to occupy the first spot on the leaderboard of UCOP. He managed this by getting a total of 2779.48 points. This was enough to get him the trophy and the title.
One of the regulars at the MPNPT, Mateusz Moolhuizen wins the fourth tournament with this name to be organized so far. His prize consisted of two packages for the MPN Poker Tour, along with €3,000 cash. The packages he won give him access to a side event and to a main event, plus travel expenses and accommodation.
In addition to that title of champion, he also got the 8th position at the Battle of Malta’s main event, winning €30,000.
Alex Scott, the Microgaming representative, mentioned that the 2018 tournament was their biggest one so far and a thrilling moment for them. The €1,000,000 in guaranteed prizes made sure of that. He congratulated the winner for getting the title of Greatest Poker Player in the Universe.
Mateusz Moolhuizen declared that UCOP was very exciting for him to play in, a great experience which ended with him getting the title after climbing on the leaderboards. As a joke, we assume, he also mentions that it was a great excuse to skip spending time with the parents in law.
