This project, All-in Diversity, has been created in 2017 and its aim is to help open up a dialogue in the industry, concerning the inclusion, equality and diversity in companies from the gaming and betting industry. In addition to other big names from this industry, Microgaming has also joined this project as a founding member now.
The founders of this initiative were gambling executives Christina Thakor-Rankin and Kelly Kehn. The main objective is to create a benchmarking tool and an index for the industry, which will allow for the sector’s inclusion and diversity to be measured. Through this initiative, there will be reports released annually, which will measure the progress on this matter. It will also include recommendations for best practices, so that inclusion and diversity can be improved. The areas that will be covered include equal pay, recruitment and corporate governance.
The Microgaming CFO, John Coleman, declared that thanks to the company’s diverse workforce they are stronger and dynamic as they’re moving forward. He mentions how important it is to find the barriers that stop diversity and inclusion in this industry, since getting rid of these issues will help the industry grow. Microgaming will work with the representatives of All-in Diversity to make sure that they’re among the forces that drive the industry forward.
On the other side, we have Kelly Kehn’s statement, one of the co-founders of the project. She welcomes Microgaming as a founding member for the project and says that the team working at this company helps make it stronger. The team working at Microgaming is diverse and is spread all over the world. Thanks to their help the project has a much better chance at succeeding.
