IWG will take some of these classic or new slot releases from Microgaming, and they will carefully craft them to be fun and exciting for the players which enjoy this type of casino game. The gameplay and features will largely stay the same, but the structure of the prizes and the mechanics behind the game will likely change, so that the converted titles can then be offered to the 800+ Microgaming operators, starting at some point later in 2019.
The two suppliers have signed this type of deal for the first time, and through it Microgaming plans to take advantage of the experience that IWG has with the conversion of slots into instant win games. They want to improve their reach into this side of the gaming industry.
According to Microgaming’s John Quinn, the company aims to keep providing their operators with new types of content, so that their appeal to the market continues to improve. They look forward to the transformation of some of their most popular slot machines, and then to be able to offer them to their operators.
IWG’s Leon Thomas mentions that this new partnership between them and Microgaming will give players the possibility to experience the company’s slots in a new form. Different players will also get a chance to try these games out.
