They’ve also announced that the UCOP Passport series will start on January 27th, and it will go on until February 10th, 2019. A total of €10,000 in prizes will be offered for the leaderboard spots.
For the player that takes first place, they’ve announced that they’re offering the opportunity to go on several trips, which will revolve around tickets to three different events from the MPN Poker Tour. The value of those packages will be €4,500, plus the winner also receives a tickets package for the online tournament, worth €550. The player will get the option to travel to any of the poker events from the MPNPT which take place in 2019. He gets access to the main event and to one of the side events, plus accommodations for himself and one guest, as well as cash to cover travel expenses.
The players that win UCOP Passport events, will be qualified into Tournament of Champions, which takes place on February 17th. They will get a Poker Tour package, which will have a value of €1,500. There will also be a dozen events called 50% Super Bounty, which will pay more than €40,000.
They’ve also announced that UCOP Mini is coming back, between January 13 and January 27, using the same format as the one from UCOP Passport. However, the buy-ins and the guaranteed prizes are at just 10% of Passport’s value.
The buy-in for the series will range between €0.55 and €320 for the two series, and this will allow players at all levels to get a piece of the action.
Thanks to the satellites which are available for both UCOP Mini and Passport, qualifying to these series is not an expensive process. You can take part in them by signing-up at the MPN poker rooms which participate.
