Latest Microgaming Progressive Jackpot Slot is Wheel of Wishes

Already a developer that’s recognized for their progressive jackpot network, Microgaming is now working on adding more to it, and they’ve done so by redesigning it and turning it into the WowPot, and now through the release of a new slot, called Wheel of Wishes.

As it seems to be the case lately, they’ve used a partner studio to develop the game, its name being Alchemy Gaming. Wheel of Wishes is exclusive to Microgaming though, and it’s a 5-reel slot with 10 paylines, which has jackpots that could change people’s lives.

The action of Wheel of Wishes takes place in Arabia, so it’s a Middle Eastern inspired game, with great soundtrack, excellent gameplay, using genies and the usual magic lamps to guide you along to great riches.

One of the features of note, the stacked wild will be present, complementing the scatter Wheel and potentially taking you to Power Spins. This is a feature which transforms the first and last reels, adding matching stacked symbols of high value on them, placing them in sync. As for the middle reels, they get giant symbols on them, so it’s entirely possible to get a screen full of matching symbols of high value at this point.

While in the Power Spin, landing a 3x3 symbol on the middle reels with the Wheel on it, will get you a jackpot bonus feature, and potentially a progressive jackpot. This includes the WowPot, worth at lest 2 million EUR, or one of the three smaller prizes.

The Power Mode can be triggered through a side bet, with Power Spins always on, and a bigger chance of getting the jackpot bonus to activate.

This is the latest slot to join the progressive jackpot network that Microgaming has made huge over the years, the same one that paid more than 1 billion EUR so far, and turned 79 different players into millionaires.

Starting from February 11th, Wheel of Wishes will be available as an exclusive slot for Microgaming’s casinos.

James Buchanan, from Microgaming, mentioned that they’re delighted about presenting the first slot from Alchemy Gaming, and he also says that there will be more titles launched for their progressive jackpot network by the end of 2020. The new Power Mode and the Power Spins are expected to make waves, as will the newly revamped WowPot. Released early, this game has already paid more than 1.2 million EUR, and the biggest prize triggered so far has been 131,574.55 EUR.

As for the statement from Alchemy Gaming, Rory Harpur mentions that this game combined superb graphics and game mechanics which feel intuitive. The Power Mode, and the way it transforms the reels to use Power Spins, will give the player a better chance at triggering the feature which can result in a progressive jackpot. They look forward for this game to be widely released at Microgaming casinos.
