A recent announcement from Microgaming lets us know that they’re ready to introduce additional poker games to their casino platform.

They announced that they are committed to giving their operators as wide of a game portfolio as possible, and that they will soon introduce a new type of poker product for them.

This is news that comes only a couple of months after they closed down MPN (Microgaming Poker Network), after over 16 years since it was introduced to the public.

What they’re planning in the nearby future, is to launch Hold’Em Poker on their platform, and then to follow through with games like Lucky Showdown.

As for what we’re getting now, they’re announcing that Hold’Em Poker is a more sophisticated version of the popular Texas Hold’Em. Its purpose is to place the player in a realistic environment, similar to a real poker room, and to give them an interesting experience that they will not find anywhere else. It’s a fresh take on an old game, and it will involve a Sit & Go tournament style game, with a €5 buy-in.

It’s been designed specifically for mobile use, and it comes with a wheel that will deliver random prizes, along with a progressive jackpots which resets at €25,000.

Hold’Em Poker is going to be available as an exclusive title for certain customers starting from December 1st, and then it will be available to all from December 9th.

According to John Coleman, the Microgaming CEO, Hold’Em Poker is going to give their casino vertical a whole new dimension, as it introduces new types of poker games to the platform. They designed it to be appealing both to regular casino players and poker players alike. They plan on continuing to innovate and diversify their offer of content in the future.
