Microgaming has announced that they have just made another player a millionaire recently, and that they have officially paid more than €30 million in 2020 to date, to 7 different people.
It happened on July 20th, when a player from Spin Casino has won €1,650,382. It’s the seventh player to win the big progressive jackpot from Microgaming’s network, this time through the Major Millions games. The player in question was based in UK, and they took home that big prize with just a €3 bet. He got his prize in a lump sum, as it’s the case with all prizes paid by Microgaming.
A spokeperson for Spin Casino has mentioned that they are thrilled about having one of their players cash in on that prize, becoming a millionaire in the process. He mentions how Major Millions was always a popular Microgaming slot machine, and that the version with 5 reels is just as fun for players.
With this prize, this is the third time that Major Millions has triggered for a player in 2020, after another win of €1.65 million in March, and a June win of €1.2 million. Some of the other big payouts of the year, have come from Mega Moolah games, four of them total, including the biggest one of 2020. The new Mega Moolah slots were responsible for three of those wins, and both Atlantean Treasures and Absolootly Mad paid out in May.
The world’s biggest and most popular progressive jackpot network will keep growing this year, with new games released and with big wins being paid. Already, there are more than 550 players that won prizes of at least €10,000.
As for the games which are coming next for the progressive jackpot network, they include Fortunium Gold Mega Moolah, Book of Atem WowPot, Juicy Joker Mega Moolah, Sisters of Oz WowPot and African Legends.
John Coleman, the Microgaming CEO, mentions that the network has paid more than €1.2 billion over the years, and that 2020 has been impressive. With a lot of new games released or about to come out, the company is expecting that the momentum will keep building up in the months to follow. Already, they’ve paid more than 2.57 million jackpots in 2020, with a value of more than €115 million.
